By booking a service or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a booking. The Cleaning Bureau is a professional cleaning services company operating in the United Kingdom.
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by The Cleaning Bureau. A booking is confirmed once you receive a written confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
When making a booking, you must provide accurate information including the correct property address, access instructions, and any specific requirements. Failure to do so may result in additional charges or the inability to complete the service.
All prices displayed on our website are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are calculated based on the service type, duration, and any selected add-ons. The final price is shown on the booking confirmation before payment is taken.
Payment is taken in full at the time of booking via our secure payment provider, Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards. By providing payment details, you authorise us to charge the full amount shown at checkout. We do not store your card details on our servers.

We will carry out the agreed cleaning service with reasonable skill and care using professional-grade equipment and, unless otherwise agreed, our own cleaning materials. We reserve the right to use subcontractors who are vetted and trained to our standards.
We cannot guarantee the removal of all stains, marks, or damage that existed prior to our visit. We will inform you if we believe a stain or condition cannot be fully remedied before commencing work.
You must ensure that our team has safe and unobstructed access to the property at the agreed time. You are responsible for securing or removing any valuables, fragile items, or pets before our team arrives. We recommend that you or a responsible adult is present during the service, though this is not a requirement.
The Cleaning Bureau carries public liability insurance. In the event that our team causes damage to your property during the service, you must notify us within 24 hours of the appointment. We will investigate all claims and, where our liability is established, arrange for repair or replacement at our discretion.
Our liability is limited to the value of the booking fee paid. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of earnings or business. We are not responsible for damage to items that were already damaged, fragile, or improperly secured prior to our visit.
We take pride in the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us within 24 hours of the appointment and we will arrange a return visit to address the issue at no additional charge, subject to the issue being within the scope of the original booking.
Our team has the right to refuse to work in conditions that present a health and safety risk, including but not limited to: presence of hazardous materials, infestations, or aggressive animals. In such cases, the full booking fee may still be charged. Please ensure the property is in a safe condition for our team to work in.
